Copenhagen Street Style

Here are some choice shots of Copenhagen's street style which captures the vibrance of the city during the height of summer. More to follow after I get out of this vacation.

Mara's Mille Feuille Crepe Cake

This cake is soooo good, even Jimmy Choo wants some (check out the side-eye)

As a belated happy birthday present to ToT, my travel soulmate Cheska "didn't know what to get for the girl who has it all. But when (she) tried this cake, she knew this was it!" Love the message, chick!
The box was sweetly pink, with adjectives that evoke the essence of whatever baked wonder is inside  it.

Pizzeria Mozza by Mario Batali

These are, by far, the best chicken wings I have EVER tasted. Of course they should be damn good, the wings came from Mario Batali's kitchen.
I've had my eye on Osteria Mozza ever since arriving Singapore and learning that Mario Batali has a branch of his establishment at Marina Bay Sands. Sadly, since the Osteria is only open for dinner, we decided for the next best thing for our last lunch in Singapore...

Graphic: Gross Swimmer Sighting

If you were just reading my post on db Bistro Moderne... please take a moment before you continue on to this post... I am warning you... this is GROSS.

My brother posted this on Facebook yesterday, I couldn't help but re-post it because... Eww...
His caption: Check what's was swimming in our tub with us in The Spa Fort?!!

Would you wanna have a spa experience with a little... erm.. Mickey swimming right under you?

All I can say is... Never gonna go there again. :s This is why I am going back to QI Wellness

What would you do if you were relaxing at a spa and a little rodent swam up beside you?

Surprise Singapore: db Bistro Moderne by Daniel Boulud

After all the Hawker food finds and the humid trekking on the streets of Singapore, we wanted to dress up and try some of the fine-dining options offered by international celebrity chefs. Since I'm a continent away from New York, I was happy I could find a slew of options at Marina Bay Sands Mall.
I wanted to try Osteria Mozza because of Mario Battali's eggyolk, ricotta & sweet potato ravioli as seen on the presidential Iron-Cheff competition he had with The Whitehouse's Executive Chef (who happens to be Filipina). But could not get a reservation in time. Right beside it, though, is another attractive bistro that goes neck and neck with Mozza.
